Mud Mile Delivers an MVP Performance at the 2025 Summit League Tournament

Okay, maybe we didn’t technically leave the Summit League tournament with an MVP trophy — but it sure feels like we did. Once again, our team was courtside to capture every moment of action on the road to March Madness.

Over five days, the Summit League men’s and women’s basketball teams combined to play 16 games at the Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. And we were there for every fast break, buzzer beater, and big play of the tournament.

Prepping for Game Time

Our work began long before the teams stepped onto the court for the first round. Ahead of the tournament, we pre-produced 46 videos for social media, including:

  • 19 hype videos to bring the energy
  • 9 school videos to get the fans pumped up
  • 10 countdown videos to build anticipation for tip-off

With loads of player footage captured, we made sure the athletes had their time to shine on camera.

Delivering Highlights in Real Time

The best teams thrive under pressure, and so do we. During the tournament, we delivered 20 highlight reels, all within minutes of the final buzzer. Those videos were immediately posted on the tournament’s social media pages, so fans had instant access to the biggest moments.

By the end of the championships, we had game footage to preserve Summit League history stored safe in the cloud, accessible to our partners in perpetuity.

A Winning Team

We’ve been an official part of the Summit League team since 2019, but team members have been involved in every tournament since it moved to Sioux Falls in 2009. It’s a legacy we don’t take lightly. Every year, we’re honored to tell — and sell — the stories of these college athletes and programs.

The 2025 tournament may be over, but the highlights live on. We’re extremely proud of the content we produced this year, and we’ll be back next season to capture every Cinderella story and championship celebration.

And speaking of champions, congratulations to the Omaha Mavericks and the South Dakota State Jackrabbits for punching their tickets to the Big Dance!
