When Augustana University told us they were starting a Division I hockey program two years ago, our office looked something like this:
We’d already partnered with multiple championship hockey programs, but an opportunity to work with a legacy partner (we’ve worked with AU for 11+ years) to make history was pretty special.
In addition to helping with the big kick-off announcement in 2021, our team worked closely with the good people at Augustana to help create an electric atmosphere to get the home crowds ready for a level of hockey that the city hasn’t seen.
It was important for Augustana to create a sleek, shiny, clean aesthetic consistent with their brand, but up to the standards of a Division I program.
We worked with their team for general branding, but also on sponsorship activation and fan engagement content.
The video content has to be scalable, so we utilized our Modular Content Strategy to create content that could fit on multiple LED boards in multiple venues, because the official home for Augustana Hockey, Midco Arena, won’t be ready for prime time until January 2024.
All in all, we’re thrilled with the end results. And excited to see a vision come to life after two years of planning with a trusted partner.
